Subsea Global Solutions have been named exclusive U.S.-based service agent for Lagersmit, the Netherlands-based manufacturer of sealing solutions for the maritime, dredging, industrial, water and energy markets.
SGS will provide service, installation and repair services to Lagersmit customers in North America, Central America and the Caribbean.
Lagersmit specializes in sealing solutionsfor pumps, ships and tidal turbines.
Chiel Michel, Service Manager at Lagersmit said: “”The SGS team provides rapid response to ship owners without interference with the vessel’s schedule. As our agent, they will be called upon for bonding new seal rings, removing or installing spacer rings, and even performing complete replacements at anchor or during cargo handling operations.”
